In 2023, Nawita obtained her Bachelor of Infrastructure with a specialisation in Civil Engineering from the Anton de Kom University of Suriname. Her graduation thesis included a design and improvement proposal for one of the busiest intersections in Suriname, proposing infrastructural measures to address the congestion problem. Prior to her current role, Nawita was a soil mechanics lecturer at an MBO college in Suriname.

Since October 2023, Nawita has been part of the team at GEO2 Engineering B.V., where she has been working as a geotechnical engineering consultant on various projects to expand her knowledge and experience.

Nawita is very eager to learn and ambitious, which makes her well able to effectively manage the expectations of the environment and stakeholders. Nawita thrives in challenging work environments, where she performs her work with enthusiasm, positive energy and decisiveness. Her focus on results and solution orientation make her a valuable asset to GEO2.
