Jelte completed his Bachelor’s degree in Applied Earth Sciences at Delft University of Technology in 2026. During this programme, he built up a broad technical foundation and gained an in-depth understanding of various processes and issues relating to the subsurface. Driven by his interest in this field, he is currently undertaking a Master’s programme in Earth, Climate and Technology at Delft University of Technology, where he will specialise in Energy & Resources.


Alongside his Master’s programme, Jelte works as a Trainee Engineer at GEO2 Engineering. Here, he has the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge he gained during his studies to practical geotechnical engineering projects. With his analytical mind and curiosity, Jelte aims to further expand his technical knowledge, gain practical experience and develop into a versatile engineer by working on a wide range of projects.
