ir. R.K. (Roshan) Kishoen Misier

Senior Geotechnical Engineer
r.kishoenmisier@geo2.nl

Roshan graduated from the Technical University of Delft in 2014 with a Master’s Degree in Hydraulic Engineering specialising in  Hydraulic Structures. His graduation thesis was titled: "Interaction between an asphalt revetment and the sand subsoil under wave attacks". During this assignment, the analysis of (medium-scale) fatigue tests with asphalt samples on dune sand under cyclic loading was the main focus.

Since his graduation, Roshan worked for almost three years in Suriname as a civil engineering consultant for a contractor where he was involved in the construction of a seaside dike. He also worked as a foreman and a work preparation engineer on a utilitarian building site and as a project engineer for various river defense works. During these years, Roshan experienced considerable overlap with the field of geotechnical engineering and his interest in this field has been increasing ever since.

Roshan has been working as a junior geotechnical engineer with GEO2 Engineering B.V. since October 2017 and currently contributes to various projects.

Roshan is an easily adaptable and practical engineer and is able to consider matters from both a theoretical and practical standpoint.
