Eleonora Barbera completed her master's degree in Civil Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in 2023.

Before joining GEO2, Eleonora worked as a structural engineer in the Netherlands. There, she gained experience with advanced finite element analyses, structural assessments and the numerical modelling of complex structural behaviour. Her experience with Abaqus finite element modelling is particularly valuable for geotechnical projects involving soil–structure interaction.

Since July 2026, Eleonora has been part of the GEO2 team. With her background in structural engineering and advanced analysis methods, she brings valuable expertise to challenging geotechnical projects.
