GEO2 Engineering B.V. was founded in 2009. We are a flexible, accessible and practical engineering firm in the field of geotechnical engineering. Currently there are 12 employees.
The GEO2 approach
The core idea at GEO2 is: Thinking along with the customer, no ready-made solutions, but a suitable and buildable solution for each specific situation. Our services are broad: from simple sheeting to complex excavations, from foundations of a house to iconic bridges and from dykes to impressive dams. We advise in various phases of the design, from feasibility, tender, final design to implementation design and supervision on project location.
Vision engineering process: During the interactive design process, consideration is given to how a design will actually be realized, within the specific requirements and preconditions. We look for a technically and economically feasible result for you, which naturally takes into account the geotechnical risks.
The expertise within the GEO2 team is broad and deep. The various consultants have specialized training with years of work experience. In addition to extensive knowledge in the field of geotechnical engineering, GEO2 has thorough knowledge in related fields, including geology, hydraulic engineering and constructions. Specifically, we have extensive experience with the behavior of soft soil, glacial, marine deposits, rock mechanics and tropical, in-situ weathered soil. Moreover, GEO2 has an international orientation thanks to our extensive network, education, training and work experience.
GEO2 in the industry
We are in favor of the continuous accumulation of knowledge. Our consultants are constantly developing through courses on the latest geotechnical developments. In addition, knowledge transfer, supervising junior advisors and graduates, participation in various CUR committees and the connection as a teacher to the CGF-1 course and the University of Suriname are of paramount importance at GEO2.
Finally, GEO2 is a much sought-after party for carrying out independent reviews, ranging from a quick scan to the execution of a completely independent design.
